Meghan Wins Songwriting Contests
*Meghan was a finalist in the Sept 2011 "Best Song of the Month" contest by Songwriter Universe for her  song, "This Love"

*Meghan won the Spring 2011, Tennessee Concerts Song Contest with her song, "You're Good With Me".  Her prize is to shoot a video in Nashville!

* Meghan won the Pop Category in the 2011 Show Me the Music Songwriting Contest for her song "Never Ever", which will be released on her next album. She has also been selected as a finalist for the Grand Prize for this song and 10 other songs!!


* Meghan was a semi-finalist in the 2011 Song of the Year Contest for her song "SINGLE"

* Meghan won the 2011 John Lennon LOVE SONG Songwriting Contest for her song, "Learning to Say I Love You"


* Meghan won the 2010 Song of the Year's Top Songwriter in the Folk

  category for her song "Hold on to the Ones You Love".


* Meghan was selected through a contest, to perform at the 

  30-A Songwriter's Festival in Santa Rosa, CA  Jan 14-16, 2010.

* November 2010: Meghan wins Grand Prize in the New Orleans Songriter's

* October 2010: Meghan was selected to be a Showcase Performer at the Durango Songwriter's Expo in Broomlield, Co


* At the 2010 ASCAP EXPO in Los Angeles, Meghan was 1 of 10 winners in a contest to put lyrics and vocals on a track made by writers: Chris “Deep” Henderson –Jamie Foxx's “Blame It” and Nate Walka –Trey Songz' “Say Aah”. 


* Meghan won Best Original Song at the Music On & Up Showcase at the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston.  She performed "Take Care of Our Soldiers" and "Out the Door" 2010.


* Meghan was named as a Semi-Finalist in the 2009 International Songwriting Competition for two of her songs: "Overdrive" and "Don't Let Me Down". http://www.songwritingcompetition.com/Semi-Finalists_2009.htm  


* Meghan had 3 songs :"You got the Best of Me", "I'll Wake for You", and "Don't Let Me Down" chosen as Runner-Ups in the Mike Pinder's Band Wars Contest. (Mike Pinder is one of the founders of the band The Moody Blues). These 3 songs will released this summer on The Best of Bandwars CD! "You're Gone, "Take These Tears" and "Quite the Adventure" were named as finalists and "Dad" received Honorable mention.


* Meghan has won the First Prize - Best Female Artist - in the 6th Annual International Acoustic Music Awards for her song Waterfalls!!!!! (She is the youngest person to win this!) http://www.inacoustic.com/winners.html


* Meghan's Songs "Don't Fall Tonight, "Falling", "One Chance", "Learning to Say I Love You", "Waterfalls",Take These Tears", and "Overdrive" have been critiqued and recommended by Taxi Music to Tuff Crowd Production, a company looking for up and coming new talent.

*  Meghan Songs's "Falling", "Learning to Say I Love You", and "Perfect" were critiqued and recommended by Taxi Music to Nettwerk Producing Management, a company looking for up and coming new talent.

* Meghan's Song: "Don't Let Me Down" was voted on of top 5 "Best songs of the Month" for January 2010 by Songwriter Universe Magazine

* Meghan's Song "Falling" was entered into a contest with the Nashville Songwriter's Association International.  It was advanced into the final round of judging. 

* Meghan's was chosen as 1 of 12 finalists in songwriting contest at the Berklee College of Music for her song "One Chance" while she attended their 5 Week Summer Performance Program 2009.

* As a result of entering The New York Songwriter's Circle songwriting contest, Meghan was chosen as 1 of 6 artists in the country to perform at the prestigious Bitter End Club in the West   Village in New York City on March 15, 2010.

* Meghan was chosen through a contest by The Songwriter's Network, to have two of her original songs: "Falling" and "Learning to Say I Love You", broadcast on  www.musictogousa.com.  

* Meghan was a finalist in the ISSA's (Independant Singer/Songwriter Association) songwriting contest with her song "Falling".
